One of our well respected and long-time clients in the Buxton area are looking to grow their existing work force with a Trainee Machine Setter. This is an exciting new role and full training will be given and there is lots of progression on offer. The pay rate will increase to £12 once you are fully trained up. This can take up to 6 to 8 months depending on the persons performance.

**Responsibilities of the Trainee Machine Operative**:

- Machine setting
- Setting up and running a machine
- Perform basic general maintenance and fault finding
- Report faults with equipment to engineering department
- Quality control
- To always act in a safe and responsible manner

**Requirements of the Trainee Machine Operative**:

- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical/factory/machine setting background
- Good accuracy and organisational skills
- Ability to plan and think ahead

**Hours of work are Monday to Friday, weekly rotating shifts**:

- Shift A: 6am until 2pm
- Shift B: 2pm until 10pm (early finish on Friday)

**Benefits & Requirements**:

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
- 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday)
