**Are you up for a challenge and looking for an opportunity to work at a school which helps improves the life chances of some of the most vulnerable children in Norfolk?**

The Short Stay School for Norfolk is a single countywide institution which meets the needs of a diverse cohort of vulnerable and challenging young people from 9 physical locations. The majority of our young people have been permanently excluded from school and are preparing for an onward transition to a new school or specialist provision.

We are looking to recruit a Cover Supervisor for the Locksley School, based in Norwich. We are an all through school form KS1 to KS4 The successful applicant will supervise classes to cover short term absence of colleagues and to allow other staff to carry out professional duties and training. Cover supervisors will give instructions for the lesson, as provided by colleagues, and keep students on task while maintaining good order.

When not required for cover - the supervisor will be responsible for compiling and managing referral paperwork for young people requiring specialist placements. In addition they will be an integral part of the team to support pupils to engage with learning while at the school.

We require someone with bags of initiative and a real “can-do” attitude. It might be tough at times but we can guarantee it will be incredibly rewarding too. Locksley is an all age school so cover could be across all key stages.
