-**Hybrid Working Model**
Due to regulatory changes, this is a newly created role for the business and is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to join their Risk Department as a Risk Assistant. You will be joining a fantastic, experienced Risk in a varied role that will kickstartyour career into insurance.
**THE ROLE**
You will be working alongside experienced members of the risk team to assist with various roles including supporting our client's risk framework for all of their clients. Additionally, there will be an array of administrative support tasks including data collection,trend analysis and draft reporting.
- Support the Head of Risk and other Risk Managers to be able to recommend and changes that could be made to the existing Risk Framework.
- Research the market to help identify possible risks that could face their clients.
- Assist team members in running regular risk workshops that will help their clients identify possible risks.
- Support Risk Managers in creating risk related reports to be used by clients.
- Maintain both regular and ad-hoc, risk register records that are concise and informative.
- Monitor and maintain key risk indicators (KRI's) to be used by clients
- Help draft Own Risk and Solvency Assessments (ORSA's) which may include stress tests, reverse stress tests and risk analysis.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- You have excellent communication skills, able to talk to people from varying seniorities and backgrounds.
- You come across as credible and knowledgably and should be able to persuasively inform others about the business benefits of the clients work.
- You have great time management skills and are able to meet multiple ongoing deadlines.
- You can work independently without much guidance as well as collaboratively as part of a wider team.
- You are detail focused and take pride in ensuring your work is accurate.
- You are educated to University level, preferably in a relevant degree.
- At least **6 months** experience working in an insurance related role.
- Through professional experience or education you have an understanding and keen interest in risk management and control concepts along with the basic regulatory requirements that come with it.
- Basic understanding of the inner workings and activities of a **Lloyd's syndicate**.
- Professional experience using **Microsoft office**, including **Word, Excel **and **PowerPoint.**:

- Experience working with the Magique management system would be a bonus.
