Pastoral Manager required to deliver effective pastoral support at an excellent secondary school in North Birmingham. This Dynamic, progressive and well renowned Secondary school is looking to add a Pastoral Manager to the team to support across Key Stage4. As a Pastoral lead you will contribute to the raising of attainment, attendance and wellbeing of students. This role requires a pastoral Manager who is able to lead a team of pastoral staff, including Heads of Year and Behaviour Mentors.
Overall behaviour and attendance is excellent at this school, however as a Pastoral Manager you will be expected to help maintain these standards and act as a positive role modelfor students. You will be working closely withschool leadership to ensure thatstudents are engaged and invested in their learning.Experience as a Pastoral Manager, Head of Tear or Behaviour lead is desirable and experience within a school setting is essential.
Job Role:

- Maintaining behaviour standards across whole school
- Identifying students who require additional support and delivering intervention sessions
- Liaising with the attendance team to improve attendance across whole of school
- Developing working relationships with parents, carers and outside agencies
- Acting as a positive role model for students and members of the pastoral team
