Innovative Security Solutions are currently recruiting qualified CCTV Operators to join our security team in Spalding Shopping Centre.

As a CCTV operator you will support **the **provision of a professional CCTV monitoring service, ensuring the public space CCTV System is monitored in accordance with its objectives and to maintain the integrity, security, accuracy and confidentiality of all information gained at all times.

CCTV Operators are mainly responsible for operating and maintaining surveillance equipment, watching both live and recorded video surveillance footage, reporting incidents or suspicious behavior and contacting the authorities when necessary.
- Operating and monitoring all surveillance security systems/cameras within the Control Centre in an efficient manner and in compliance with the operating procedures, legislation and best practice.
- Recording all events, incidents and actions taken in a clear, legible and accurate written format.
- To maintain a secure system for providing data in accordance with the regulations and also to ensure the security of the control room and equipment is maintained at all times and to report equipment failure to the Chief Security Officer or Management.
- Providing efficient and courteous radio and telephone answering service and deal efficiently with all enquiries.
- Liaising with the security agencies and members of staff to ensure the appropriate use of the CCTV system and to include all evidential records and witness statements to a standard acceptable to the rules of evidence.

**Required Experience and Qualification**

- SIA licence
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Smart and well presented
- A polite and courteous manner
- A good level of physical fitness
- To be decisive and quick-thinking
- Knowledge of licensing laws along with health and safety regulations
- A calm, assertive manner, to defuse potential conflict situations
- Good observation skills, remaining alert to any potential issues
- Good teamwork skills
- Applicants with a UK driving licence and own vehicle are strongly desired

**Salary**: £11.50-£12.00 per hour
