A unique opportunity has arisen for a Production Planner to join us, a well respected established major performance doorset manufacturer focused on multiple commercial projects within the United Kingdom.

The Production Management Team for RW Doorsets assumes a pivotal role within the overall organisation, RW Joinery (Stockport) Ltd, and are responsible for the daily performance of the Factory whilst ensuring that future commitments, orders and production delivery is planned for.

We are looking for an experienced Production Planner to organise production according to demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our goods are produced on time for distribution in a profitable manner.

Applicants should be well versed in production procedures and ways to optimise them, organised and results driven with great problem solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very useful for the role. The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost efficient flow of our production operations.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Co-ordinate production workflow for one or multiple products.
- Plan and prioritise operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover production demand.
- Assign workers and other staff to particular production needs.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
- Obtain output information (number of finished products, percentage of defectives etc.)
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
- Keep paperwork organised.
- Collaborate with quality control, warehouse and other staff.

**REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS**
- Proven experience in production planning.
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.
- Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing Resource Planning) would be advantageous.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
- Strong organisational and problem solving skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.

**Salary**: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stockport: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Production Scheduling: 1 year (preferred)
- Production Management: 1 year (preferred)
