**About the role**
This is a site-based role, undertaking Asset Inventory and Defect Inspections
across the M25 Network.

Ensuring compliance with the requirements of the contract and maintaining all relevant records and paperwork. Inspecting and identifying defects onsite and the appropriate reporting of them.

**What you'll be doing**
- Responsible for delivering the Longstop on-site and video inspections
- Working both on-site and within an office-based environment, carrying out Highway Asset inspections on the M25 and other related roads and assets
- The ability to distinguish and categorise various defects, as per the directives outlined by National Highways and Connect Plus Services (additional training will be provided to enhance this knowledge)
- Identification and recording of new asset inventory items
- Assist the wider Inspections Team with inspecting other network assets
- Assist with audits of surveys carried out by Third Party Contractors
- Assist in responding to customer enquiries
- Updating and complying with the programme deadlines
- Closing out defects on the database
- Live the Connect Plus Services Values
- Ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm

**Who we're looking for** Qualifications/ skills/ experience**:

- Knowledge of highways assets and related defects
- Knowledge and experience in the use of asset management systems (Desirable)
- Knowledge and experience of using Data Capture Devices
- CSCS site labourer card (this will be supported if not existing)
- Full driving licence (Essential)

- Ability to meet deadlines by organising and planning own workload
- Good communication skills and can get point across clearly
- Be flexible and prepared to work unsociable hours as required
