We are a nursery that strives to be outstanding for both children and staff. We have a lovely team of people that work amazing together and have a "One Team" approach.
We have two nurseries, one in Bramcote and one in Stapleford and both provide a home from home environment for all.
We are looking for someone that is passionate about children learning through play and curiosity and putting them at the heart of everything we do as a nursery.

**Main Duties And Responsibilities of Qualified Nursery Practitioner**:

- Must be qualified with a relevant early years educator qualification to at least Level 3 or above preferable.
- Paediatric First Aid Preferable although training can be provided
- Must be experienced in Early Years
- Safeguarding Certificate Preferable although training can be provided

**Daily responsibilities of a Qualified Nursery Practitioner**:

- To help plan, provide and take part in play based activities that stimulate and support children’s learning and development.
- To listen to, encourage and support children in their play, learning and development.
- To assist and support children with personal care requirements. This may include changing nappies, assisting with toileting needs, changing clothes and shoes and helping children at meal times.
- To abide by all policies and procedures in place within the setting at all times and be aware of Ofsted requirements.
- To help to ensure the setting is a safe environment by following health and safety procedures and checking equipment is safe to use and age appropriate.
- To be aware of the settings Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy and the signs and symptoms of child abuse.
- To be aware of emergency procedures and what procedures are to be followed in the event of an accident or incident.
- To be aware of infection control and ensure good hygiene standards.
- Duties may vary from day to day._

As the role involves working with children you will be exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and therefore all convictions, cautions, reprimands and final warnings (including those which would normally be considered ‘spent’ under the Act) must be declared.

Any offer of employment is conditional upon receipt of an Enhanced Disclosure Check (DBS Form) and approval from Ofsted.
