**SENIOR RETOUCHER - HYBRID WORKING**

The role of **Senior Retoucher** sits in our spectacular Studio & Production Services department where you will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering all work that comes into the post-production team. Working in close partnership with the Production Managers and other studio team leaders, the Senior Retoucher has a clear understanding of the wider business and global requirements.

Leading the post-production team in delivery of industry leading brand and product photography, the Senior Retoucher mentors the team and monitors the workflow to ensure deadline attainment for all deliverables.
- Day to day as a _**_Senior Retoucher:_**
- Manage post-production team resource, work closely with the other team managers to proactively plan and deliver requirements across all channels including ecommerce, campaign, wholesale, external and internal marketplaces.
- Day to day management of the post-production team.
- Allocation of schedules and special projects.
- Support production management team in the delivery of targets and department goals.
- Track team performance and report on KPI’s and team activity.
- Manage the process for outsourced imagery with 3rd party suppliers.
- Monitor 3rd party supplier images, ensuring that technical and creative image specifications are adhered to.
- Monitor consistency of colour correction across image collections ensuring final assets are true and accurately represent the product.
- Contribute to any creative projects.
- Manage & maintain the digital asset library and the integrity of folder structures.
- Check that digital assets adhere to asset naming conventions.
- Contribute to seasonal studio style guide reviews.
- Flag any concerns with production management if images are not compliant with style guide or creative briefs.
- Review current processes and workflows to ensure operation is optimised and make recommendations for improvement.
- Safeguarding compliancy when working with 3rd party suppliers, certifying processes are aligned to in-house studio and adhered to stands set out in the style guide.
- Develop new talent, ensuring the team is upskilled to the business needs and recognising gaps in skillset.
- Create, develop, and maintain effective working relationships and communications with key internal and external stakeholders to deliver industry leading content for product and brand imagery.
- Support team during peak production with retouching a wide spectrum of digital assets from high volume to high-end.
- Mentor and train team at all levels with advanced techniques and process.
- Provide continuous feedback and development through daily internal quality control process and performance manage as required.

**_ What we need you to have:_**
- Technical expertise of retouching: creative studio and location imagery, advanced understanding of skin treatment, ecommerce imagery.
- Deep understanding of image contrarians.
- Experience in the studio and production industry with a breadth of understanding of post-production processes.
- Highly organised with ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload.
- Expertise gained from both inhouse or agency studios experience.
- Understanding of industry practice.
- Awareness of current and emerging retouching trends.
- An interest in current and emerging fashion trends particularly in ecommerce.
- Experience in training and developing talent.
- Experience of managing teams and providing motivational leadership.
- Experience of running 1- 1s, development reviews, disciplinary reviews and measures and identifying training programmes.
- Calm under pressure.
- Operational and tactical thinking with the ability to dynamically assess ever changing situations and make informed decisions and recommendations.
- Experience of managing both creative and operational functions.
- Client facing, articulate, able to reference service level agreements and business requirements.
- Established relationships with post-production suppliers and partners.
- Knowledge of studio, production and creative disciplines.
- Meticulous attention to detail with an ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Mac literate, with expert levels in adobe photoshoot and working knowledge of capture one pro, Microsoft Excel and Word Skills.
- Established relationships with 3rd party production companies.
