Motor Fraud Lawyer

My client, an international legal firm are looking to recruit a Motor Fraud Lawyer to join their expanding team in Newcastle. The team are market leaders in Motor Fraud boasting well renowned clients and representing a range of matters from organised fraudto cross boarder fraud. There will be a mix caseload of both litigated and pre-litigated, with the bulk litigated. You will be working with well-respected Partner who will ensure you receive the training and opportunities to further your career with a clearpathway to senior level. **Responsibilities**:

- Effectively running the file to ensure deadlines are met and cases managed proactively.
- Adherence to internal and client SLAs, KPIs and protocols.
- Billing and collection of WIP and disbursements.
- Accurate provision of MI.
- Achievement of agreed financial targets.
- Ensure cases run smoothly and balance commercial interest of both the client and firm.
- Engaging with clients to build rapport.
- Maintain and develop technical knowledge through attendance of training sessions and reading publications.
- Minimum 1 year’s previous fee earning experience, ideally in motor fraud but other areas will be considered such as personal injury.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to work to deadlines and prioritise workload.
- High standard of written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confident negotiator.
- Excellent relationship and client handling skills.
