1 post available in Emergency Medicine. Having been an active training site for Physicians Associates students from Swansea University since the course initiation, Hywel Dda University Health Board are pleased to be able to offer Physicians Associate (PA) positions.

It is anticipated that Physicians Associates will play an active part of the workforce, through the healthcare system across the Health Board in the years to come, with a wide range of future opportunities in both Primary and Secondary Care.

You will receive significant support by a consultant to develop in your role, whilst working alongside a committed team of doctors and nurses and working collaboratively with other members of the practice team within the policies and clinical guidelines.

Glangwili Hospital based in Carmarthen is a 370-bed hospital comprising of General Medicine, Surgical Specialities, Women’s, Maternity and Children’s Services, A&E and ITU. It serves the population of Carmarthenshire and South Ceredigion.

Hywel Dda University Health Board is the planner and provider of NHS healthcare services for people in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion, Pembrokeshire and its bordering counties. Our 11,000 members of staff provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health and learning disabilities services for around 384,000 people across a quarter of the landmass of Wales. We do this in partnership with our three local authorities and public, private and third sector colleagues, including our volunteers, through:
