**Event Safety Steward**

This is your opportunity to be part of the eagerly awaited return of live events

In preparation for normal service resuming in the live events sector, Shield Security Services is seeking Event Safety Stewards to join our team on a casual basis.

You could find yourself working at a wide variety of live events from sports to festivals and venues. Events are already happening with COVID safe measures in place and we’d love to have you on board as we support the sector back to full strength.

Join our team in Hull to work at a variety of events and venues like the MKM Stadium.

We have plenty of shift availability and whether you’re looking for 1 or 5 shifts per week (or anything in between), our casual contract offers you great flexibility. However, you must be able to work some Friday and/ or Saturday shifts (but not necessarily every week).

**What you will be doing**
- Providing a high standard of customer care
- Being familiar with the layout of the site/venue in order to assist the public
- Attending pre-event briefings
- Ensuring an even flow of people entering the venue/event
- Monitoring crowds for signs of overcrowding
- Investigating any disturbances or incidents
- Responding to emergencies and providing immediate assistance
- Monitoring for compliance of any COVID related policies

- Pay will vary dependant on roles starting from £10.90-£11.30ph

**What we need from you**
- A polite and friendly demeanour

- An enthusiastic, talkative, and motivated attitude
- A good work ethic with the ability to work with a smile on your face
- SIA Licence preferred but not required.
- Previous experience preferable but not required; training provided where necessary.
