**CREDIT CONTROLLER**

Primary function to manage the Sales Ledger to agreed targets. Collecting sales ledger amounts due, agreeing credit limits and approving sales orders to minimise the risk of bad debts losses whilst maximising business opportunities in accordance with Group Policy. Member of Finance Team assisting in accounting function.
- Wears correct PPE at all times
- Understands the site safety procedures
- Ensures safety concerns are raised and made known
- Back up on SAP for setting up new customers
- Provide European Credit Manager with information as requested
- Set credit limits using the appropriate credit status information available
- Monitoring all E-billing processes.
- Liaise with customers as required to resolve queries and issues.
- Follow Company Credit Management Procedures-including credit reviews as required
- Liaise with Area Sales Managers and customers regarding overdue accounts
- Provide back up to Voreppe on overdue accounts.
- Liaise with customers and other departments on customer invoice queries
- Reconciliations of customer accounts
- Meet targets agreed for DSO ratios
- Liaise with Collection agencies and Solicitors to collect overdues**Necessary role related knowledge, skills and experience at entry**
- General accounts and ledger experience
- 2 to 5 years Credit Control experience
- Knowledge of computerised ledger system - SAP or equivalent
- Microsoft office suite.
- Refer to Site Training Plan for job specific training requirements

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus scheme
- Performance bonus

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Stalybridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- accounting: 1 year (preferred)
- credit control: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: One location
