**Formal Outerwear & Tailoring Designer**

- Monday to Friday - 37.5 hours a week

We are now recruiting for a an experienced, passionate, and dedicated Designer specialising in formal outerwear and tailoring for the team based in London.

**About the Role**:
The Formal Outerwear & Tailoring Design role is a very creative and independent role. We are looking for an experienced, creative, confident, and dedicated designer, who will work together hand in hand with the Account manager, Fabric specialist and offshore product development teams on seasonal collections, which are then presented to our main clients. This role is also part of the wider design team. As part of this design team, you will be working together on seasonal Colour, Fabric and Micro trends.

**We are looking for a Designer who is**:

- Experienced and has designed for any Highstreet fashion brand across formal outerwear and tailoring
- Commercially aware of current trends and have some fabric sourcing knowledge.
- An excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with colleagues and customers at all levels, including customers and factories and third parties based in the Far East and Europe
- Highly organised, efficient and able to work to tight deadlines
- Have experience working within in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word & Excel), photoshop and Illustrator, 3D design skills are beneficial
- To have garment technical knowledge, and ability to generate detailed tech packs and indirectly manage of shore development team on daily bases to achieve required result.

- Proactive, positive and solutions focused
- Educated to degree level, ideally in a qualification related to fashion design, business or retail

- If successful in the initial interview, a design project will be set
