**Role Overview**:
Responsible for ordering and organising all incoming and outgoing ironmongery deliveries and managing the warehouse / stock spare effectively. Must Ensure all ironmongery items for project are ordered and packaged correctly.

**Responsibility Area**
- Have an understanding of all ironmongery elements involved to compliment SWD products
- Using SWD systems daily to track and order the required items for orders that have been placed.
- Check notes in the quotes for extra items required and ensure that all ironmongery for the project is sourced
- Preparing ironmongery boxes for individual jobs, marking up a check list on each box to make sure there are no missing items
- Updating on the system when an ironmongery order is complete and ready for delivery / installation
- Scope to lookout for new suppliers, new hardware and finishes to offer.
- Responsible for special requests of plating ironmongery and sending out to specific metal finishers
- Ensuring we have enough stock ironmongery in the warehouse
- Compiling a notebook of technical knowledge and answers to questions for future reference regarding ironmongery
- Problem solving, if something is out of stock from one supplier being familiar with alternative items available from others
- Check with financial controller that the money has come in for ironmongery orders prior to sending the items to clients
- Pro active in identifying issues that might occur with ironmongery and coming up with solution
- Other Admin tasks regarding Ironmongery / Deliveries

**Personal Attributes and Qualifications**
- Knowledge of the ironmongery market, suppliers and trends preferred
- A Good understanding of the products we sell and what types of ironmongery is required would be ideal
- Experience in using warehousing space effectively and health and safety involved in this but not essential
- Synergy with company’s structure and processes
- Willingness and ability to process and learn new information quickly
- Ability to use initiative and problem solve
- High level of organisation and good time management
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and clients
- Capability to use necessary systems to carry out daily tasks
- Ability to work well as part of a team and as an individual
- Ability to work under pressure
- Understanding of the company and it’s functionality
- Flexibility and knowledge to cover others roles if need be
- Have a confident, positive attitude
- Packaging/wrapping/protecting information or course
- Warehousing health and safety course

**Future Opportunities**
- Scope to become more involved in ironmongery orders, such as quoting / direct orders eventually
- Potential on growth to increase reasonability’s of ordering items (Cage Systems, specialist doors etc)
- Helping with deliveries and logistics of SWD and Maverick London
