**About The Role**:
Allpay Limited is a leading UK Fintech company and is dedicated to delivering exceptional products and services to our clients. As we continue to expand our business, we are seeking a results driven Head of Bids to lead our Small Bids team to drive our success in securing new business opportunities.

This role will be responsible for leading and managing the bid management function, including developing and executing bid strategies to win new contracts and expand our client base. In addition, in this role, you will be working closely with cross functional teams to develop compelling proposals that meet the client requirements and also align with our strategic objectives.

In this role you will need to have a great balance of both delivering on strategy and also be comfortable being hands on writing and driving bids to successful completion.

Within this role you will:

- Lead the end-to-end bid management process, from opportunity identification and qualification to proposal submission and contract negotiation.
- Develop and implement bid strategies that differentiate our offerings in the marketplace and maximise our chances of success.
- Lead and manage a small team of bid professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operational teams, to develop integrated bid strategies that meet client needs and objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in bid management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to inform bid strategies and identify new business opportunities.
- Identify and assess potential risks associated with bids and propose mitigation strategies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and subcontractors, to enhance our bid capabilities and expand our network.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the bid management process.

**About You**:

- Ideally a Degree level education in Business, Marketing or a related field is desirable.
- A good commercial understanding with proven experience in a Senior Bid level role, ideally in a fintech organisation.
- Have a proven track record of success in winning government and public sector bids and securing new business.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Strategic thinker with a customer-centric approach and a deep understanding of market dynamics and client needs.
- Proficiency in bid management tools and software, as well as Microsoft Office suite.
