**Job Title**:dewerstone Shop assistant and barista

**Hours**: 14 Hours a week - Sundays and Mondays

**Duration**: Permanent

**What we’re looking for**:
As we continue to grow, we're seeking a passionate individual to join our team on a permanent basis. While this role is part-time, finding someone whose ethics and eco credentials align with ours is paramount. Our store serves as a vibrant social hub for outdoor enthusiasts, making it crucial for us to enlist an individual who embodies friendliness, outgoingness and confidence in customer interactions.

We also seek someone who is dedicated to supporting our brand’s missions of crafting sustainable products and safeguarding the environment.

**Job specification - your role will include**
- Customer service
- Food handling
- Preparation of beverages
- Cleaning coffee machine
- Cleaning and maintaining high food hygiene standards
- Operating the till/cash handling open/end of day cashing up
- Replenishment of product
- Using Shopify to process stock and sales
- Making sure merchandising is maintained to the highest standards
- Being knowledgeable about the brand/products and the ethos on sustainability
- Keeping the store clean and tidy
- Helping out other areas of the business during busy periods.

**Key skills - what we’re looking for**
- Excellent customer service skills/ confidence in engaging with customers.
- Barista skills are preferred, we aim to deliver a high standard of coffee, however, training can be provided. (A training course will be arranged and you will be expected to attend this prior to starting your employment with us).
- Enthusiastic and passionate about the brand.
- Being punctual, reliable, and committed to working weekends.
- Great time management and being proactive when quiet.
- Resilience to working through busy periods.

**Working Pattern**:
Working weekends is the most important commitment. Your hours will be Sunday 9.30 - 16.30 and Monday 9.30 - 17.30.
