What you’ll be doing

As part of our Maintenance team, your role will be to help with the general upkeep of the hotel to ensure all areas are looking their best with a focus on Painting and Decorating whilst supporting the team with maintenance requirements. You will have a keen eye for detail and will perform regular checks around the hotel to help keep the hotel looking great You will be able to work with initiative and identify areas that need to be updated as well as ensuring any damaged areas are highlighted and corrected. You will also work systematically through the hotel updating all areas of the hotel including Front and Back of House.

You will ensure that when working all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to, to ensure the safety of you and your colleagues. As you will be customer facing, you must work ensure you work in a clean and tidy fashion and provide excellent customer service.

Holiday Inn Express Royal Liverpool Albert Dock is situated in the Grade 1 listed building on Liverpool Royal Albert Dock. Centrally located in close proximity to local attractions such as the M&S Bank Arena and Convention Centre as well as Liverpool One, Museums, Bars and Restaurants.

As an Express hotel, our focus is on offering limited services at a reasonable price. Standard amenities lean toward the convenient and practical which cater to business travellers and short-term stays.

**Job Profile**

**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Work systematically through the hotel to ensure all bedrooms and public areas are looking great

2. Respond to any damages and paint/ decorate in a timely manner

3. Carry out requests in a timely manner

4. Walk round of the property internally and externally to identify areas that require painting, updating or fixing

6. Support the Maintenance Team where necessary with other Maintenance Tasks

7. Ensure all inventory is kept at a suitable level

8. Adhere to Health & Safety requirements

9. Adhere to Brand Standards

10. Customer Service

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
