The post is Monday to Friday (excludes Bank Holidays) Hours are: 09:00 to 17:00
**Principal responsibilities**:
- Assist the Care Home Manager in all aspects of the home's administration.
- Assist the Care Home Manager with Friends of the Home and arranging Activities/Entertainment
- Stock Control and the ordering of food, cleaning and some care supplies.
- Answering the telephone and dealing with enquiries.
- Present a professional and caring first contact for all those who visit or telephone the Care Home
- Providing a focal point for visitors, promoting a positive image.
- Dealing with invoices, petty cash and resident funds, ensuring records are accurate and maintained.
- Support with budgets.
- Dealing with recruitment and on-boarding of staff.
- Providing general clerical support including taking minutes of meetings, general typing and filing.
- Ensuring confidentiality is always maintained.
- Maintain stationary requirements.

- Effective Communicator - Written and Verbal
- Friendly, confident and well presented
- Ability to prioritise and organise
- Genuine interest in working within an administrative role
- An appreciation for need for confidentiality
- Good numerical and word processing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Team Player
- Experience in a similar role
Professional Development via NVQ and other training opportunities are available.
Experience in a similar role is essential.
**Salary**: £9.80 per hour
