**The Park House Hotel, Shifnal, **purchased in December 2021, is the most recent addition to the Crest Hotels Group. Originally two separate 17th century country houses set on the edge of the market town of Shifnal, The Park House Hotel is an elegant building which combines modern amenities with traditional features.

A popular wedding venue the Park House Hotel has 54 en-suite bedrooms, a bustling bar and restaurant, as well as numerous rooms suitable for meetings, conferences and private functions.

Keeping our hotel running smoothly is vital to our guest's experience - as **Maintenance Assistant** you will keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork. From simple repairs inside and out, to forward-thinking for the next day. With naturally high standards to support our own, you will approach every task with dedication and pride.

This role will involve General maintenance work both preventative and reactive carrying out a very wide range of tasks including but not limited to:

- Painting and decorating both major refurbishment projects and daily repairs
- Basic electrics checking and repair
- Carpentry repairs
- Basic plumbing taps, toilets leaks etc
- Tiling and Regrouting

This role is for 25 hours per week on a shift basis working 5 out of 7 days including weekends.

Previous experience within hotel maintenance is an advantage.
