We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking **Bench Operative** at **Harlow Bros **in Long Whatton, Loughborough**.** This is a fast-paced working environment working within a well-established team.

Harlow's has recently transitioned from a family-owned business to an **Employee-owned business**. Harlow’s has over 90 years’ experience in Timber, Engineered Timber, Manufactured Buildings and more. With 13 locations across the UK and over 500 employees, from manufacture to merchanting, Harlow’s have the expertise to advise, supply and support you in any project or build.

We are looking for someone with the following **experience/qualifications**:

- Sound knowledge of Timber products, types, and standards
- Experience in using hand tools.
- Competent at reading and building off scale drawings.
- Use of Timber Machinery
- Experience in bench joiner or equivalent.
- Counterbalance Licence

The hours of work are **39 Hours per week, Monday to Friday**

You will report to **the Manufacturing Supervisor**

As a **role **your primary **responsibilities** would be:

- To work in a safe manner, to ensure you put colleague’s and your own safety first.
- Ensure components are made In Full-On Time-To Standard.
- To support in any other activities to help ensure buildings are built on time and to order specification.
