**What you'll be doing**

Reporting to the Site Manager, the role of Site Cleaner is to maintain excellent hygiene standards by undertaking cleaning tasks. You will provide an efficient and effective cleaning service for the offices and warehouse, including the canteen and general communal areas throughout the business, ensuring a high standard of cleaning is delivered and maintained throughout.

Working within the site maintenance team, you will ensure the operation is effective and efficient in daily tasks and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including BRC food safety standards, Health and Safety and Hygiene regulations.

You will be able to assist the site team in meeting our core business objectives of providing an excellent service to our site and customers and putting CARE at the center of everything we do.
- 5 days out of 7 operational days of the week (including weekends). _
- 40 hours a week, 7.00am - 3.30pm - flexibility around start and finish times. _
- You may be required to work additional hours as and when required._
- Based at: Freshview Foods Ltd, Unit 2 Lowfield Drive, Wolstanton, ST5 0UU._

**Your responsibilities**
- Maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout the office areas, warehouse, yard areas and Prep Room hygiene to the highest standards.
- To clean floors, accessible internal walls and Prep Room machinery as scheduled.
- Monitor and report on the condition of all surface water grids/drains in both the transport yard and the car park and internal areas including prep room.
- Be able to work on initiative, you will be provided with a cleaning check sheet. However, if something needs cleaning within the above areas and isn’t on the check sheet, carry out the necessary cleaning tasks within your remit.
- Ensure that pedestrian walkways and areas between docks are kept gritted and safe during times of severe weather
- At times cover the cleaning of the welfare facilities to cover holidays.
- All yard, warehouse and domestic areas are hygiene monitored, spillage and dirt need to be managed and cleaned to protect the workforce and environment.
- Complete any baling of cardboard & shrink wrap for recycling as necessary.
- Report stock levels of all cleaning materials used and order when necessary. All hygiene records to be kept up-to-date, filed, and available for audits.
- Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
