**The Role**:
**Key Areas of Responsibility**:

- Advising clients and booking touchscreen tests, taking card payments and sending booking confimation to clients/canidates
- Invigilating touch screen tests
- Notification of upcoming tests to the relevant Awarding Body within expected timescales
- Meeting & greeting delegates/centre visitors
- Ensuring acceptable ID is presented at time of test
- Updating database with pre-and post
- course information. Including CCTV and voice recordings
- Liaising with Internal Verifiers and assisting with preparation for annual audits

To assist in other administration duties when required including, but not limited to:

- Internal and external telephone calls, including covering other departments calls as and when necessary
- Receipt and distribution of incoming and outgoing post
- Production and despatch of course materials and paperwork
- Receipt/production/despatch of all certificates and ID cards
- Set up and clear down of classrooms as required for weekly course schedule
- Management and replenishment of general stationery items, delegate refreshments.
- Maintaining course paperwork archive and filing systems
- Assisting the Administration Department with ad hoc duties and projects as required.

**The Person**:

- Experience in a busy business to business sales environment.
- Knowledge or experience of the construction and/or training/education sector would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- Excellent customer service and people skills, with a hands on and customer-centric approach.
- Ability to deliver in a highly targeted sales role.
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
- Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
- Ability to communciate effectively and professonally, both verbally and in written communications.
- Strong time management skills, along with the ability to be organised and plan and prioritise tasks.
- Ability to be responsive to a fast-changing environment.
- Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
- Excellent IT skills, especially the use of Microsoft Office suite and databases.

**Hours**:
Monday to Thursday 08:30 - 17:30 & Friday 08:00 - 17:00

25 Days per annum, plus bank holidays (3 or 4 days to be saved for a shutdown at Christmas).
