**People Business Partner - in a nutshell**
You’re a credible & trusted member of your stakeholder group, responsible for delivering a proactive, commercial & strategic generalist people service to achieve both the business & people priorities, as well as serving our brand purpose.
You’ll have to operate both strategically & tactically, so it’s essential that you’re not afraid to roll your sleeves up & are comfortable working collaboratively & cross-functionally.
Ideally have experience in a similar role and hold a CIPD level 5.
**Getting into the detail**
- Lead the design & creation of the People strategy & translate goals into People plans for your region.
- Build trusting relationships with your stakeholders, such that you are a key confidant & well positioned to provide constructive challenge & influence them to think differently about long-term, impactful People solutions.
- Deliver (or oversee) end-to-end generalist People support, including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement & culture, L&D, employee relations, performance management, talent development, succession planning & offboarding.
- Listening to our people and translating feedback into actions.
- Driving reward and recognition.
- Effectively & fairly manage performance, talent & succession planning in region, partnering closely with your peers in Recruitment & L&D to pull together the whole picture for your region.
- Act as a coach to influence & guide stakeholders to proactively get the best out of their teams as per Côte’s brand & Values
- Review People metrics to identify interventions needed in region, making informed & balanced judgement calls to take action at the appropriate pace.
- Research, lead & implement agreed People projects to bring our Values to life.
- Regularly review policies & processes to ensure Côte attracts, retains & develops people in line with our Values.
- Ensure that we uphold integrity in what we do as a People team, role modelling our leadership behaviours & values, as well as celebrating successes.
- Identifying and embedding new channels to introduce talent into the business.
- Keeping up to date, safe and legal with all new legislations and working practices.
- Continue focusing on own knowledge, personal development and external trends to ensure ourselves, the business and systems are evolving and relevant.
**Location**
Our head office is in Kensington, London, but UK-wide travel will be required & remote working is standard practice - this role covers our North region, from Central London to Scotland.
