Randstad is working alongside a client north of Dundee to source two consistent Residential Childcare workers for both regular shift patterns and ad-hoc shifts.

In this role you will be supporting highly vulnerable children who experience emotional and behavioural difficulties. To succeed in this role over 12 months of experience in Residential Childcare and experience with managing challenging behaviour is essential.

To be successful in this role you will be responsible for:

- Providing consistent high quality care to a vulnerable young people
- Supporting service users with early trauma and emotional behavioural difficulties
- Ensuring professional boundaries are in place
- Taking service users out into the community and to school each day
- Ensuring professional boundaries are in place
- Maintaining professional manner and working to National Care Standards
- Degree of flexibility for shifts, 1 on 2 off pattern, weekend availability, night availability
- Have a minimum 12 months of experience in UK based Residential Childcare
- Have flexibility in the roles undertaken
- Have strong communication skills
- Register under the PVG scheme
- Full driving license
- Preferably obtained SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent
