**What do we do?**

This Apprentice will support the delivery of a customer-focused Tec Service Desk function. The primary role is to provide first level Tec support to the Kelda Group of companies. This is inclusive of IT support, user access requests, security, facilities, and general business queries.

**What will your role involve?**

As a Service Desk Analyst Apprentice, you will be responsible for the accurate logging of Incidents & Requests. Monitoring Service Desk work queue according to process and ensuring workload is effectively managed

Responsible for successful onboarding of new first-line services according to SIP. Following and contributing to the Incident Management Process following the ITIL guidelines. Proactively follow and uphold security policies for both self and user-base. You will also;
- Create, update, and promote IT knowledgebase
- Monitor and manage the compliance of the Service Desk’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and SLAs
- Devise and proactively manage service performance improvement projects
- Provide comprehensive customer service to our colleagues and suppliers in all aspects of support through all avenues of interaction
- Review processes and procedures to continually drive improvements in line with the changing needs of the business
- Responsible for training new starters and developing the skills of less experienced staff
- Proactively seek to enhance own knowledge with a view to enhancing team knowledge
- Responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly Management Information reports and data for Balanced Scorecards
- Responsible for creating, maintaining and reviewing self-help material in the knowledge base
- Deputise for the Helpdesk coordinator in their absence

4. At all times to behave in a safe and responsible manner and in accordance with the Health and Safety and Equality legislation relating to the individual responsibilities and to promote and act in the Employer’s best interests.
5. Be self-motivated, always willing to learn new skills and take pride in everything you do.

**Entry Requirements**:

- You must have or be expecting at least 5 GCSE grade A-C/4-9 (including English & Maths) to satisfy the requirements of our training provider.
