Job Title: Invasive Weed Surveyor

Location: South East

**Salary**: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough surveys and assessments of sites to identify and document invasive weed species.
- Collect and analyse data on the distribution, density, and impact of invasive plants.
- Develop and implement effective eradication and management strategies, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
- Collaborate with clients, landowners, and stakeholders to provide expert advice and recommendations on invasive weed control measures.
- Prepare detailed reports and deliver presentations to communicate findings and propose actionable solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research, industry trends, and best practices related to invasive weed management.

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience in invasive weed surveying and management, including knowledge of identification techniques and control methods.
- Strong understanding of ecological principles and the impact of invasive species on native ecosystems.
- Familiarity with relevant legislation, regulations, and environmental standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present data effectively.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Full driving license and willingness to travel to various sites as required.
