**Job Overview**:
Three part time Mental Health Band 6 Chaplaincy Site Leads vacancies have been created at Pennine Care Foundation Trust covering five boroughs, Rochdale, Tameside, Bury, Oldham and Stockport. As well as travelling across these five boroughs to deliver Chaplaincy services when required each chaplain will be responsible for looking after Chaplaincy services at a designated site. They will be responsible for reporting into the Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care Lead and work collaboratively with other members of the team. They will be joining an existing team bringing our numbers up to 6. This an exciting time to join the team as we develop the service.

Birchhill, Stansfield and Rhodes Place, Rochdale 22.5hrs

Irwell Unit, Bury 15.57 hours

The Meadows, Oasis and Heathfield, Stockport 15 hrs

Main duties of the job

The post holder will assist in the management of a Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care Department to serve the needs of patients, their relatives, visitors, and members of staff.

**They will be a resource of expertise for the Trust**: in theological and ethical issues in health care; for advice on issues relating to faith (all faiths including Christian).

Whilst the post holder will operate out of one of the specific boroughs (Birchhill, Rochdale, Parklands, Oldham, Irwell Unit and Ramsbottom Ward, Bury; Buckton and Beckett, Tameside; Oasis, The Meadows and Heathfield, Stockport) they will be expected to travel to other sites to provide spiritual, pastoral and faith belief support to inpatients, their carers and staff, to ensure a comprehensive and diverse service is available.
