Kameo Recruitment is recruiting for a **Baby Room Leader** to join our Client’s nursery. We are seeking someone with nursery experience, as well as a passion for working with babies and young children. This is a fantastic opportunity to takethe next step in your early years career

**Duties & Responsibilities of the Room Leader**
- Ensure a high standard of physical, emotional, social and intellectual care for all children.
- Inspire outstanding practice and share knowledge and understanding of children’s care, learning and development and give support to other team members within their immediate room and within the wider Nursery.
- Ensure all children are safeguarded and their welfare and safety is promoted
- Work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children learn and develop through play.
- Possess the highest standards and latest knowledge of practice and serve as an example to the other practitioners within the setting.
- Support new team members through inductions and in partnership with the management team.
- Feed into appraisals, settings targets, and Nursery operations.
- Support team members to seek out any training or support they may require to fulfil their roles and responsibilities.
- To have a knowledge of and adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.

**Requirements for this role**
- Experience in working with babies and/or leading a baby room (ideally)
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Passionate and enthusiastic about working with babies
- Caring and responsible
