HGV technician - Mornings**

Salary**:£16.58 per hour, plus Veolia benefits

Hours**: **40 hours per week Monday to Friday - Various Shifts available.

**Overtime**: 1.3 x hourly rate Mon
- Fri, 1.5 x Saturday, 2 x Sunday, 3 x Bank Holiday

At Veolia our HGV Technicians are responsible for the day to day service and repairs of our Heavy Goods Vehicles. By joining Veolia as a HGV Technician, you are playing your part in helping us to combat climate change

What will you be doing?**
- You will keep our HGVs safely on the road so our street-side operatives can carry out their duties for our millions of customers
- Responsible for carrying out routine vehicle inspections, routine maintenance, fault finding and repairs to make sure our fleet is reliable, available and safe
- At our Westlinks workshop we have 7 experienced engineers. We maintain four contracts with a 300+ Fleet size. The variety of vehicles varies from small sweepers to 32T loaders.
- Each engineer has their own working bay. On site we have ATF facilities that operate once a fortnight. Our HGV Technicians are crucial to our operation, they literally keep our wheels turning.
What are we looking for?**
- NVQ Level 2 vehicle qualification
- Experience working on HGV vehicles
- C&G/BTEC or equivalent
