ACS International Schools are recruiting for an experienced Telephonist/Receptionist join the team at ACS Cobham to is to ensure a professional and helpful welcome of all visitors to the School and to provide excellent customer service in the answering of all telephone queries in a timely manner.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Provides a friendly, welcoming, helpful and efficient manner on the telephone, answering all calls promptly and directing to the correct department
- Acts as an ambassador to the ACS Cobham community by providing a professional reception cover for parent, student and staff enquiries
- Maintains the reception area ensuring an organised, safe, tidy and professional image is maintained at all times
- Assists with adhoc duties as required, which may include assisting the PA to the Head of School
- Meet and greet new parents
- Work with the Admisisons Team to announce tour visitors to them
- Help any parents that come into reception with any questions and direct to correct department. Often you are the first point of contact
- Make sure you are aware of all visitors and tours for the day
- Keep watchful eye on calendar
- Liaise with relevant divisions for any deliveries that come into reception
- Requirement to have an extensive knowledge and understanding of school community as a whole.
- The role involves regular communication and involvement with students, parents, academic staff, support staff, ACS Administrator and also staff at Head Office

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent
- Previous experience of telephone systems desirable
- Previous experience as a receptionist/secretary/administrator in a busy, customer focused environment essential

This a non-term time, permanent role based at ACS Cobham working Fridays from 7am-3pm.
