**Chaplain**

Melbourne Grammar School is seeking a Chaplain for our South Yarra campus, commencing Term 3, 2024.

Our South Yarra campus encompasses our Middle School, Wadhurst, (Years 7 and 8), and Senior School (Years 9 to 12). We work with teachers who have a passion for secondary boys’ education, along with the skills necessary to encourage academic and social growth, and instil self-reliance. Our aim is that students will graduate as valued members of an Australian and a global community who also recognise their intrinsic value as individuals lives.

This position is a full-time fixed term replacement position for Semester 2 2024.

**You will**
- be an ordained Anglican Priest, with extensive experience in school
- have experience in teaching Religious Education and Philosophy
- proven ability as a leader of public worship
- have demonstrated ability to provide effective leadership, including advanced spiritual and pastoral care leadership
- possess highly developed public speaking skills through preaching and informed sermons
- have a proven capacity to improve student learning and promote academic excellence
- be interested in being involved in the community life of the School

VIT registration, or the ability to gain this, is essential for this position.
