We are looking for a commercial minded self-starter with strong academic qualifications to take ownership of part of our events programme. As the conference producer you will research the topics, book the speakers, write the agenda, produce marketing copy,ensure registration targets are hit and oversee the sessions on the day. You will be writing the programmes from start to finish and be the 'brains behind the conference’. You need to have strong research skills and a keen interest in technology and innovationtopics is preferred. Strong communication skills are also essential as you will be liaising with senior stakeholders to conduct research calls and to book and brief speakers. This will be a busy role so the ability to multi-task is essential.

We are open to hiring a well-qualified graduate for this role as well as experienced professionals. We can provide all the training needed for the role.

**About the Digital Leadership Forum**

The Digital Leadership Forum produces online and face to face sessions for our members who are senior professionals working in the technology, digital and innovation roles. Member companies include BT, HSBC, Pfizer, Dell Technologies, Clifford Chance andmany more big brand names.

Our events programme includes online sessions for our members with roundtables, speaker sessions and workshops which lasts for 1-2 hours. Our face-to-face events are normally half day events which we run quarterly. This role is to produce between 2-4 onlinesessions a month with 1-3 speakers. We don’t run traditional full day conferences with hundreds of speakers but the challenge in this role is to keep up with the quality and turnaround times needed to manage multiple short sessions per month and to manageall aspects of the session preparation and delivery,

We are a small and friendly company and our team work remotely across the UK. We will be running a quarterly face to face event so the ability to travel to London to oversee these sessions is required as well as attending a summer and Christmas social eventin London.

**Market Research 10%**
- In-depth phone-based research with key industry figures to determine the validity of topics, key themes, format, speakers and competitor landscape,
- Identifying the target audience and finding out what they want / need to know
- Develop session formats and topics appropriate to the demands of the audience

**Speaker Acquisition 55%**
- Identifying high-level, influential industry experts to speak at the conference.
- Planning briefing calls to agree the agenda content and ensuring speakers are prepared for the conference
- Creating agendas with a variety of formats
- Collecting speaker bios and photos and adding speakers to the website

**Copy Writing 10%**
- Writing promotional copy for the conference in the language of your target audience.
- Updating the website copy before the session
- Producing the agenda

**Social Media and Design 5%**
- Designing promotional banners using templates
- Posting promotional materials on Linkedin and tagging speakers
- Sharing promotional materials with speakers

**Attendance analysis 10%**
- Weekly review of attendance figures for your events (supplied by mkt and ops assistant)
- Monthly review of attendance demographics
- Agreeing targets with the team for target seniority and attendance figures per event
- Adjusting session titles for your event series/academies based on data analysis

**Webinar/Meeting/Event management 10%**
- Attending online and face-to-face conferences to ensure excellent delivery and smooth running on the day.
- Welcome attendees to the event and network with existing and potential speakers.

Skills required
- Familiar with running Zoom conference or meetings
- MS Office proficient (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
- Preferred skills and experience
- Previous experience in a conference producer role
- Experience using design platforms (Canva, Adobe)
- Social media management experience (LinkedIn and Twitter)
- Familiar with Wordpress
