**About the role**
We currently have the opportunity for 2 Skilled Labourers to join us on a full-time permanent basis. As Skilled Labourer you will assist qualified trades personnel to carry out remedial works to a high quality, ensuring that a customer focused maintenance repairs service is delivered. You will be working independently covering Crewe and the surrounding areas and will be provided with a van & a mobile device.

One role sits within our Responsive Repairs Team and will be hands on supporting multi-skilled trades with repairs. The second position will be within our Empty Homes Team supporting with clearance, groundworks, cleaning and decorating alongside other duties as required.

**What we’re looking for**
We’re a customer-focused organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You’ll ideally have previous experience supporting multi-skilled operatives as a Labourer and have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.

**Essential experience**:

- A Full UK Driving Licence is required.
- Proven ability to carry out minor remedial building works to a competent standard such as (but not limited to) groundworks and painting.
- Experience of working in a customer focused environment within agreed performance targets.
- Proven ability to work methodically, follow agreed procedures and accurately record data and information.
- Ability to carry out physical tasks and lift weights in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.
- Ability to operate safely having considered any environmental circumstances and possible risks including working at height(s).
- Demonstrate the Guinness Behaviours.

**Desirable experience and qualifications**:

- Health and Safety Knowledge.
- Excellent organisation and time management skills.
- Experience of working within the social housing sector
- Experience of cleaning and clearing homes
- Level II NVQ or relevant experience
- PASMA
