**POST**:Head of Facilities

**LOCATION**:Sheffield/Keighley/Doncaster

**GRADE: 7**; Salary: £34,650 (FTE) £20,790 (Actual)

**WEEKLY HOURS**:Part-time; 21 hours per week (0.6 FTE)

**Purpose of the Job**:
Role is responsible for maintaining all Project 6 sites, health and safety management and assisting in the preparation and management of annual maintenance budgets.

**Main Duties**
- Day-to-day maintenance and health and safety management of Project 6 premises, ensuring compliance with regulations and legal frameworks.
- Responsibility for utilities and service contracts, ensuring value for money.
- Supervision and coordination of external contractors; create and maintain a register of approved contractors.
- Assist in acquiring new premises and any site moves.
- Lead on any premises development, renovation, refurbishment and/or dilapidation activities.
- In partnership with the senior leadership team (SLT), negotiate tenders, leases, licenses and associated legal documentation in relation to premises or related services. Lead on managing any resulting issues and consult with legal representatives as required.
- Respond and manage requests relating to repairs, maintenance and replacement of equipment, fixtures and fittings.
- Lead the organisation in all aspects related to Health and Safety.
- In partnership with the Head of People implement health & safety policies, ensuring a safe and healthy working environment including any required training.
- Produce accurate and relevant records and reports in support of the role, including but not limited to: accident and incident reports, risk assessments, COSHH data sheets, maintenance and training records, and PEEPs.
- Lead on investigating any accident or near miss and report to relevant authority where needed.
- Carry out routine audits, checks and site inspections to ensure safety and compliance and manage any resulting actions necessary.
- Maintain an up-to-date asset register.
