Logiq Consulting are Cyber Security and Information Assurance experts. Specialising in delivering leading edge consultancy to high-risk clients, along with a range of security services and products throughout the Private and Public Sector.

Our existing programmes of work are expanding rapidly, and we have urgent requirements for a range of Senior or Principal Security Consultants, to enable us to continue to deliver at an accelerated rate. Ideally you will have current or recent experience working in a government security advisory role, either within Defence or Security organisations.

**About You**

You will have experience of developing technical risk assessments using recognised national and international standards and will have taken the lead or be involved in producing a range of technical security documentation including, but not limited to: Scoping documents, Security Architecture Documents, Risk Management Accreditation Document Set (RMADS), and Security Operating Procedures (SyOPs).

With your defence experience you will be comfortable operating in a ‘customer friend’ type role, supporting the client to develop and deliver secure systems, understanding risks and managing complex system security. Our Senior & Principal consultants are engaged across Security Engineering and Accreditation tasks, working on parallel projects and workstreams, and take the lead on day to day client interface.

Senior Consultants
- 3+ years proven experience in a senior security consultancy role.

**Experience**:
Demonstratable knowledge of core cyber security areas, including but not limited to:

- Experience of delivering Defensive Cyber, Enterprise Architecture and Secure System
- Computer Security, Network Security, Cloud Security, System Hardening, Secure Boundary Controls and Protection, Cryptographic controls (Data at Rest, Data in Transit, Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)), Protective Monitoring and System Security Audit
- Understanding of national and international standards including the International Standards Organisation (ISO) 27000 series, National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cyber Security Framework, NIST Risk Management Framework, NIST Special Publication 800 Series, National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) Cyber Assessment Framework, and other industry frameworks.
- Familiarity with recent NCSC guidance and legacy Information Assurance (IA) standards
- Experience in MOD security processes and practices (Joint Service Publication (JSP) 604, JSP 440, JSP 902, DEFCON 659a).

**Essential Qualifications**:

- Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, or another industry recognised cyber security certification.

**Desirable Qualifications**:

- 2.1 Engineering, computer science, physics, or mathematics degree or HND alternative.
- Higher degree such as MSc or PhD.
- Cyber Security Council Chartership.
- Associate or Full Membership of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec).
- NCSC CCP registered (SIRA or Security Architect).
- IEng or CEng registered with UK Engineering body.
- Chartership through the British Computer Society.
- CREST Registered Security Architect.
