Barman/waiter

Overview:
The Lobster Shack in Whitstable is a busy beachfront bar and restaurant.

We are looking to grow our team for the upcoming summer period and seeking members with bar experience. Not only will you work on our busy bar, you will also play a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and enhancing the dining experience for our guests.

Duties to include but not limited to:

- Serving on a busy bar
- Making hot drinks
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and courteous manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Prepare drink orders for customers in a timely fashion
- Assisting with serving food during quieter periods

Qualifications:

- Previous experience of working on a bar is required.
- Previous experience of working in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: £6.50-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 40 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Weekend availability
