**Community Curator - ‘The Stories That Make Us’**

Location: Somerset Heritage Centre, Brunel Way, Norton Fitzwarren, Taunton TA2 6SF

Hours: 22.2 hours per week

**Salary**: £30754 per annum ( Pro Rata)

Contract: Part-time contract (22.2 hours a week) for a fixed term ending on 31 March 2026.

We're looking for a creative and imaginative Curator to lead a collaborative programme of community exhibitions.

The South West Heritage Trust is about to embark on an exciting new programme enabling people to experience culture and be creative in ways which resonate with their lives and localities. Funded as a National Portfolio Organisation of Arts Council England, the Trust is seeking a collaborative and creative Community Curator to lead the development of exhibitions and events connected to the ‘Stories That Make Us’ programme. You will be experienced, empathetic and committed to making a difference to people and communities in Somerset.

The South West Heritage Trust is an independent charity which provides heritage services across Somerset and Devon. We run two Archive and Local Studies services and three museums, including the Museum of Somerset, and look after Somerset’s historic environment, including over 400 acres of historic landscapes.
