**About our team**:

- The Researcher Marketing Team promotes over 1100 journals. We are customer driven and utilise several marketing channels to reach authors, researchers and readers around the world.
- We work with the Hybrid Journals Editorial team, the Conferences team within Marketing Operations, Design and Corporate Communications.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities:

- Develop engaging digital campaigns for our audience
- Innovate with digital marketing tools to develop integrated marketing campaigns to support business goals.
- Oversee the Conference marketing offering and fulfillment of marketing materials for conferences throughout the year.
- Build successful working relationships with a range of partners from across the global business including colleagues in editorial, marketing services, design, web and production
- Monitor competitor activity to feed into overall business intelligence.
- Delegate relevant tasks to Marketing Assistants.
- Prepare and manage campaign schedules on a quarterly basis.

Qualifications & Education:
Are you a marketing professional that enjoys innovation, teamwork, testing and sharing ideas? We are looking for an individual with proven experience of product marketing in a publishing context, a self-starter who enjoys finding solutions to marketing challenges in a creative way You also coordinate and manage projects independently and can balance a number of projects simultaneously.

You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build and maintain effective partnerships with internal colleagues as well as external partners; a creative problem solver who is confident in suggesting alternative strategies and processes to improve results.

You are passionate about the power and influence of marketing and experimenting with new marketing tools and channels while maintaining a good eye on detail with a high level of accuracy, as well as an effective public speaker. You are also:

- Energised and hardworking, bringing a positive demeanour to your work
- Have sound business judgement and critical thinking and are capable of leading the marketing strategy across several journals
- A hardworking product marketing specialist, capable of communicating SAGE’s marketing offering to internal and external partners
- An active participant in developing SAGE’s future product marketing strategies to maintain current contracts and win new business
