The governors of Kelvin Grove Primary School are seeking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Special Education Needs Teaching Assistant. You will be working 1 to 1 with specific children with SEND needs and also carrying out small group work. You will also support teachers with resources, planning and creating a highly stimulating learning environment which provides rich, varied and imaginative experiences. This will be achieved through 1:1 and small group work and by providing in-class support.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:

- A solid understanding of primary curriculum and ethos
- High expectations of children’s learning and behaviour

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to lead and work collaboratively as a member of a team
