**ABOUT THE ROLE**
**TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Working within the Engineering team on projects requiring 2D draughting and 3D modelling works, working to recognised ISO standards.
- Taking the lead in producing equipment and packaging designs of smaller projects
- Create concept drawings to assist with tendering.
- Ensure all drawings are numbered and recorded as per Brimmond procedures.
- Produce 2D drawing packages for the fabrication/machining/assembly of new equipment.
- Create 3D as-built models of existing and new equipment, and produce General Arrangement drawing packages with fully populated bill of materials.
- Performing dimensional surveys on manufactured parts and assemblies for quality assurance.
- Ensuring all CAD is correctly stored within Autodesk Vault
- Liaising with suppliers to source suitable 3D models and quoting of fabricated/machined parts.
**ESSENTIAL**
- You must be a driven team player who is mechanically minded with an excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for engineering.
- HNC in Mechanical Engineering
A minimum of 3 years’ experience working on the equipment mentioned below:
- Electric/Diesel/Pneumatic Hydraulic Power Units
- Umbilical Reelers, Spooling Units
- High Pressure Pump Units
- Mechanical handling equipment.
- Competent in mechanical systems.
Highly competent in:
- Microsoft Office (Outlook / Word / Excel)
- AutoCAD
- Autodesk Inventor
- Autodesk Vault
**PREFERRED**
- HND qualification.
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline
- Experience using Autodesk Frame Generator
- Ability to read, interpret and produce hydraulic schematics
- Knowledge of DNV-ST-E271 and DNV-ST-E273 standards/Machinery Directive
