Storeman / Handy Person

James Cowie Group Ltd are currently seeking a Stores / handy person for our workshop in Hamilton.

Working on their own & as part of a team, Duties will include but are not limited to
- Checking / inspection of all goods inwards & outwards
- Managing stock of consumables identifying & rectifying any issues
- Making up & labelling material packs for despatch
- Load / unload lorry using forklift
- Liaising with office staff as & when required
- Carrying out machine / plant checks as & when required
- Pat Testing (full training will be given
- Workshop / Yard cleaning Duties

Requirements / Qualifications

Good communication skills both verbal & written

Forklift licence (counterbalance)

Previous experience within stores

Hours of Work Mon - Thu 7.30am - 4.00pm Fri 7.30 -3.00pm

- 8 hour shift
