**About us**

Step into Tigerlily and discover Edinburgh’s most talked-about boutique hotel, bar and restaurant. Stylish? Absolutely. But we’ve been here long enough to know that good looks will only get you so far in life. Amidst pink hues, mirrored walls and chandeliers lie 33 bedrooms that effortlessly blend contemporary design with original features of our Georgian building.

We’re also home to a buzzing bar and restaurant, open daily for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late-night drinks with a bit of dancing thrown in too. We pride ourselves on having a little something for everyone, with a vast array of hand-crafted cocktails, to select seasonal A La Carte menus served all day long - it’s what we do.

**About the role**

We take care of most things here at Tigerlily, from Breakfast to Late Night Drinks - and everything in between.

Our Server are on hand to ensure our guests are well looked after from the minute they walk through the door.

The role requires someone with a big personality - it can be a challenging fast paced role, but thoroughly rewarding for the right person

**As a Server **in our business, your responsibilities will include**
- Supporting the management team in ensuring our guests comfortable, well looked after and having an AMAZING experience with us.
- Working in sections, you will be accountable for everyone in it ensuring that the customer journey is followed from start to finish.
- Being on hand for any questions, recommendations, thoughts and opinions on food, drinks and just about anything.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep on your section and the venue.
- Working to achieve the set targets and incentives, enhancing our guest experiences.
- Keeping the bar, kitchen host and management teams well informed throughout.
- Having FUN - our guests come to see us for a good time, it’s only right our team do too.
**An ideal **Server **will**
- Have previous experience working on a busy, fast-paced, high-end bar/restaurant.
- Have great knowledge of all service, food and drinks.
- Have shown longevity and loyalty throughout their career.
- Have excellent customer service skills, be able to hold a conversation with just about everyone.
- Have integrity - that is essential.
- Be driven and focussed on first class standards.
- Have excellent personal presentation and be consummately professional at all times.
- Be career driven, someone who wants to progress further in their career - we want professionals.
- Be friendly, approachable and passionate about delivering great service
