Migration & Operational Readiness Analyst

LGIM is embarking on a major transformation effort in migrating to Charles River Investment
Management System (CRIMMS) for our key front and middle office solutions. We are looking for a
Migration and Operational Readiness analyst to help develop, implement, and execute the migration
efforts for this major transformation for our business.
maintain a broad view across all Front Office and Operations functions, where they will be
responsible for provision of migration and operational analysis to support a large Front to Back
transformation programme.
Key aspects of the role will involve dealing with multiple workstream and SME's across the LGIM
business but also extensively with third party service providers.
The person filling this position will interact with a wide range of stakeholders across both IT, the transformation programme and the business, so it is essential they possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
**Principal Accountabilities**
- Act as liaison between 3rd party provider and LGIM Business teams.
- Helping build out run books for live migrations.
- Be part of the team to own the migration process for LGIM.
- Act as initial gatekeepers to any queries from 3rd parties.
- Work with developers, business analysts, product owners to co-ordinate the implementation and testing of conversion processes.
- Execute the migration strategy including how migrations will be undertaken, signoff criteria, known system difference acceptance.
- Ensure full transparency to LGIM Business on progress.
- Execute, monitor, track and report individual migration issues.
- Support and facilitate, where required, test migrations and production migrations.
- Produce artefacts on a regular basis explaining the migration details, such as instrument breakdown, volumes, complexity.
- Participate in regular meetings, ensuring all actions are being appropriately progressed.
- Collaborating with other team members.
**Requirements**:
- Experience of participating in large outsourcing/transformation Programmes is essential.
- Experience of Charles River Investment Management Solution (CRIMS) implementation is preferred but not essential.
- Solid Operational and Asset Management background is essential.
- Middle Office change with State Street, BNP or other similar providers.
- Good track record of being around migrations and good at building relationships with people.
- Hybrid Business Analysis and migration experience.
- Middle office lift outs with all the regular associated reconciliation and KSD analysis.
- Structured and disciplined approach.
**Additional Information**
- Initially a temporary contract for 26 weeks, with a view to extend.
- This will be a hybrid role with time split between working from home and the L&G office in London. It is expected the role holder will attend the office at least 1-2 times per week, this is not a 100% remote opportunity.
