My client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Cyber Security Engineer to join their Infrastructure Team that is building and delivering IT change.

**This is a hybrid role, in which you can expect to be involved in change projects across the business, as well as ensuring our technology systems are secure, compliant with local requirements across a range of jurisdictions worldwide**
- Main Duties:

- Regularly review and audit infrastructure services, identify security problems and vulnerabilities, and prioritise and implement mitigations and fixes.
- Threat modelling, design implementing security controls and processes across infrastructure.
- Data
- Design and agreeing security roadmaps and best practice.
- Working alongside infrastructure peers to ensure projects are delivered on time.
- Provide BAU IT security operational support, which includes problem and incident ticket investigation across infrastructure and external vendors working alongside infrastructure peers and external suppliers / third parties.
- Ensuring all security related policies, processes and procedures across the company are reviewed, updated and maintained.
- Be the provider of cyber security expertise to development peers and business stakeholders

General Duties:

- Contribute to the development of the Technology team processes to ensure these are cohesive, efficient, and effective.
- Contribute to the culture positively, attend meetings as required, and carry out duties willingly and diligently.
- Where regulatory rules apply, abide by these in spirit and fact.
- Carry out such other tasks as you may be reasonably directed to do by your line manager and the senior management team from time to time
- Undertake training and development as appropriate and engage fully in the performance management process.

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

- Strong hands-on experience and technical background in cyber/IT security
- Strong hands-on experience and technical background in AD, DNS & group policy
- Experience with Microsoft Azure & O365, Storage, Compute, Network & Automation

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

- Cisco, Palo Alto, Windows operating systems, CrowdStrike and Mimecast
- Understanding of Unified Communications
- Knowledge of PowerShell
- JavaScript or Python are also welcome
