**Treasury Securitisation Assistant**
**Permanent Contract 35 Hours**
**Based in Camden**
**Salary £26,422 - £29,204**
**Working Pattern - Hybrid 9-5**

To assist the Group Securitisation Manager to deliver the Treasury Property strategy. To contribute to the charging and ongoing management of the Group’s property position for loan security purposes and to ensure maximum borrowing capacity is achieved from all these types of transactions.

**The **difference you’ll make**
- Assist with the management of all property charging exercises, ensuring deadlines and target values are met. Carry out due diligence work and manage charging issues either internally or in conjunction with the Group's external legal advisors.
- Be responsible for identifying any suitable properties for property charging and resolving any issues on uncharged stock that prevent this stock being charged to a lender. Any unresolved issues are raised with the Group Securities Manager.
- Assist the Group Securitisation Manager with due diligence review of Unsecured/Unencumbered stock to identify the steps required for the remediation of charging barriers. (Where possible)
- Be responsible for raising any issues in the securitisation/charging process and be proactive about finding and actioning solutions to achieve target completion dates.
- Liaise and advise the Lenders/Panel Lawyers/Valuers and security trustees relating to property charging exercises

**So, who are you**
- Previous experience of property charging or relevant equivalent experience
- Some exposure and awareness of the Land Registry and property law
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
- Strong communication skills - both written and verbal

**Role Profile**

To assist the Group Securitisation Manager to deliver the Treasury Property strategy. To contribute to the charging and ongoing management of the Group’s property position for loan security purposes and to ensure maximum borrowing capacity is achieved from all these types of transactions.

This will include (but not be limited to):

- undertaking extensive property due diligence work on the Group’s existing property assets, including reviewing and reporting on property leases (both leases in and leases out of the group);
- working to achieve tranches of “charge ready” units to be available when needed to support the efficient raising of new funding lines;
- to assist with the training and to support relevant areas of the business to ensure awareness of asset values and the types transactions that can cause an impact (both positive or negative) so as to educate the wider business when consultation with the Treasury Property team is required; and
- to assist the Group Securitisation Manager with the building and maintenance of relationships with the external panel lawyers used to assist with large charging exercises, ensuring that value for money is received from each new security exercise and that charging transactions complete on time and to budget.
