Are you a Site Reliability Engineer seeking your next challenge?

Our client, a leading media organisation with offices in West London, Reading, Birmingham and Manchester are looking to take on a Lead Site Reliability Engineer to join a team who are continually improving the products and services provided to their customers.You will be the go-to person for the team and stakeholders to rely upon with your knowledge and expertise.

The role is permanent, full time and hybrid with one day per week in an office hub location.

You will be expected to be able to take ownership and ultimate responsibility of multiple projects, managing them end to end and for the reliability and performance of the full stack. Leadership skills will be a fundamental part of the role, as you willensure reliability engineers have the appropriate support and processes to succeed.

Requisites:

- Proven leadership skills.
- Demonstrable experience within DevOps or Site Reliability.
- Experience with AWS or GCP.
- Understanding of underlying infrastructure.
- Customer-focused with keen attention to detail.
- Experience with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with monitoring and analytics tools, ie, Grafana, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
- Experienced with a range of ticketing or alerting systems, ie, Jira, OpsGenie, PagerDuty, Jira Service Desk, etc
- Ability to handle multiple streams of work with changing priorities.
- Comfortable with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- Eagerness to learn new technologies and maintain industry knowledge.
- Open to new ideas and change initiatives, with an ability to modify the current approach in the face of new demands.
