**GENERAL SUMMARY**

Reporting to the COO, this role is responsible for ensuring that the Company’s Materials Management systems and standards are built into the entire organizational processes as part of our Celeros Excellence System. Through effective leadership and program management, the role holder will work cross-functionally to develop the strategy and implement the processes governing Production Control, MRP Planning, and global Sales & Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) by product line. Develops and implements strategy to control all aspects of materials flow and to maintain control and accuracy over all goods inventory, including transactions, planning, scheduling, cost, material receipt and shipping to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time. Works closely with Materials Management teams across all manufacturing and service facilities to develop organizational skills and capabilities. In the course of the role, this individual will also drive continuous improvement across the factory footprint through employing lean methodologies and tools.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**
- Defining, implementing and maintaining operational policies and guidelines in support of our Materials Management objectives to align with the Company’s Mission, Vision and Values.
- Refine and/or develop standardized Tier I (“T1”) global processes related to Materials Management. While this will have a primary focus within our Global Manufacturing Organization (“GMO”), the work product will not be restricted to GMO and will impact across the business.
- Refine and/or develop Tier II - Tier V (“T2-T5”) processes that support Materials Management through the business, including at the plant, product/brand, and process specific levels.
- Take prompt corrective action, after conducting a thorough investigation and root cause analysis, to systemically correct any weaknesses identified in the Materials flow processes.
- Monitor momentum, engagement and awareness levels of improving the Company’s cultural focus on Materials Management.
- Meet with plants on regular basis to communicate and review updated procedures.
- Work within the matrix environment, proactively communicating at all levels and with all functions ensuring there are no gaps in the communications.
- Maintains liaison among manufacturing and sales to provide efficient customer delivery service.
- Collaborates with IT to establish appropriate setups, process flows and reporting capabilities within the Enterprise Resource Planning systems to support robust materials management practices.
- Analyzes and evaluates inventory and delivery programs and recommends solutions to improve on-time delivery by site / product line.
- Manages overall Company inventory position and works with factories to improve key inventory indicators, e.g. inventory turns.
- Ensures data integrity is maintained for planning and reporting on root cause counter measures (RCCM) as needed.
- Drive planning process improvements for speed of execution and elimination of non-value-added functions.
- Develops and leads overall organizational capability development through training and/or overseeing the training of new and existing employees with materials flow methodologies.
- Provide support in escalations with suppliers and build supplier relationships.
- Develops systematic approach to ensure accuracy of dates in ERP systems across the portfolio.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**
- Proven knowledge of performance evaluation metrics in a business setting.

- Strong analytical skills: able to identify and provide solutions to complex operational and financial issues. Problem solving and creative thinking.
- Business acumen: Ability to drive solutions to complex operational and financial issues.
- Customer service orientation: Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced, matrixed environment, satisfying multiple customers.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulation.
- Expert-level familiarity with ERP systems, ideally including SAP.
