Board Trustee-treasurer

**Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance are looking for a Treasurer to join the Board of Trustees at an exciting time in the organisation’s journey to independence.**

**Salary**: Unremunerated

The Sunderland Voluntary Sector Alliance (SVSA) is a newly formed organisation led by the sector themselves, working in partnership with a wide range of services across the city. The SVSA has been developed to support the sustainability and growth of the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector organisations in Sunderland. It also has a role in attracting additional funding and investment into the sector. It will be a recognised conduit between VCS organisations, local commissioners and national funding organisations, to increase partnership working and to strengthening relationships.

We are looking to appoint a Treasurer to join our Board of Trustees who will provide organisation oversight, guidance and ratification on financial matters.  They will have proven experience as a Treasurer or in a relevant financial role.

Part-time hours: 2 per week
