Night Porter

Taylor Stevenson are working in partnership with a farm hotel based in Alfreton.

We are looking to recruit for a night porter to join their ever-growing team. You will be reporting to the duty manager.

**Responsibilities-**
- Familiarize yourself with the number of residents and if they are in house.
- Ensure switchboard is set to night service and keep the cordless phone with you at all times.
- Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to residents, print receipt, obtain signature and check against key card. Leave on reception spike for morning staff to charge to room.
- Request and check ID from any customer who appears to be under the age of 25.
- Ensure all customers are served promptly and to the Hotel standards at all times.
- Check with the Duty manager for any duties required through the evening.
- Make sure all conferences/functions are prepared and set up correctly prior to service.
- Perform full lock up procedure, set fire door alarm and switch off lighting down to a minimum.
- Perform a regular walk round of the public areas, maintaining tidying areas and checking security.
- Resolve minor maintenance issues and report unsolved issues to a Senior Manager.
- Work in a clean and tidy manner at all times.
- Carry out cleaning duties as per the weekly cleaning rota.
- Perform Check in procedure for any late arrivals.
- Take orders for room service, prepare and deliver food/drinks and leave written order on reception spike for morning staff to charge to room.

Must have relevant previous experience.

Working
- 4 on 4 off, 11pm to 7am.

Salary
- £11.50-£12.88 per hour
